An error occurs when activating the license


When trying to activate a license, you may encounter this error message: "An error has occurred indicating it will not be possible to write a New License in the associated License Store".


  1. Ensure that the user has full access to this folder: C:\ProgramData\AGA-CAD Navigate to C:\ProgramData\AGA-CAD, right-click on AGA-CAD folder > Properties > Security > Edit > Select your user/user group > Tick 'Allow' for 'Full control' and save your changes.

  1. Restart Revit and activate the license
