Calculate Elevations

This feature of Sort Mark calculates the elevation values for elements of the selected category and writes the values to the selected parameter (length-type).

Run the Calculate Elevation command and select a parameter to write the values to or create a new shared parameter.

In the example below, a new shared parameter Z coordinate is created to write the elevation values.

You can choose between the project elevation (Project Base Point) and shared elevation (the Survey Point). And you can choose to measure either the Top or the Bottom of elements. OK to run the command.

Elevations of door bottom points are written into the new shared Z coordinate parameter.
