Calculate Coordinates

This feature of Sort Mark calculates the X and Y coordinates of elements of the selected category and writes the values into the selected or created shared text parameter.

Run the Calculate Coordinates command and select the element category and the text parameter to write the value to. You can also choose to create a new shared parameter.

You can choose between the project coordinates (Project Base Point) and shared coordinates (the Survey Point). And you can choose to calculate the coordinates of either the start, the end or the middle of the selected elements (if it's a line-based element).

The X and Y coordinates, separated by a semicolon, have been written to the newly-created shared parameter.
