Introduction

SIP Panels makes wood framing with structural insulated panels – prefabricated building components for use as walls, floors and roofs – fast and easy with real-time, full-project updates in Autodesk® Revit®. Plus the software generates views with automatic dimensions for panels or segments as well as accurate bills of materials and shop drawings. So quality production and accurate assembly on site are ensured.

Our SIP Panels solution lets you take a wall, floor, or roof and split it as needed to then generate SIP panels. The insulated foam core sandwiched between the OSB (or other sheathing) are created as parts in Revit. For roofs, you can take one of any architectural shape and instantly split either a selected side or the entire roof by faces (slopes), which can then be framed and panelized. Similarly, a floor can be split according to its supporting structure, framed and then panelized. Studs and plates just need to be distributed for walls and then you can split parts to get the SIP panels.

Distribute connectors, cuts, supports, and other details based on predefined rules or connection types. All frames with SIP parts and the layout of framing elements and details can be modified and updated to suit the project design stage and the level of detail required. The dynamic update functionality can make changes to all frames with SIPs of the same type at once.

Easily mark wall, floor, and roof frame elements in the project based on their properties and locations in the layer. Automatically generate fabrication information with all desired views, schedules, and drawings for each wall, floor, and roof panel.
